Born 1972, Ilit Azoulay lives and works in Tel Aviv. She is a graduate of Bezalel Academy's BFA (1998) and MFA (2010) programs. Among Azoulay's solo exhibitions: The Keys, 2010, Bezalel Academy, Tel-Aviv; Findings; 2010, Minshar College Art Gallery, Tel Aviv; I Placed a Jar, 2006, Dollinger Art Project, Tel Aviv (curator: Liav Mizrahi). Group exhibitions include: New in Photography: Recent Acquisitions, 2010, Israel Museum, Jerusalem; Summer exhibition, 2010, Noga Gallery, Tel Aviv; Rear Window, 2011, Dan Gallery, Tel Aviv; Urim, 2005, Israel Museum, Jerusalem. Azoulay had received various prizes, including the 2011 Creative Support Prize by the Israeli Ministry of Culture, the 2011 Gerald Levy Prize for a young photographer, and the 2010 award for excellent achievements at the MFA program at Bezalel Academy. Her works can be found in various private collections as well as in The Israel Museum collection.
