Encouraged by the success of the group exhibition in May 2010, "Jaffa Salon of Palestinian Art "(JSOPA) is setting a home for Palestinian art in Jaffa port. JSOPA is the first and only gallery in the Tel Aviv area which exhibits exclusively Palestinian art.
Behind this new artistic initiative stand three partners: the painter-sculptor and curator, Ahmad Canaan, the entrepreneur Yair Rothman and the social activist, Amir Neuman Ahuvia.

The three are committed to increasing the exposure of Palestinian art, giving the Israeli public and art collectors a chance to create a prolonged dialog with Palestinian art, created mainly in the peripheral areas of Israel and the Palestinian authority.
The JSOPA is making a special effort to create opportunities for young and talented artists, exposing their work on a stage situated in the center of the Israeli artistic scene, and is also planning on getting involved in art educational activities for the Palestinian community.
