Artis and A Blade of Grass co-presented a discussion with Eyal Danon, Director & Chief Curator of the Israeli Center for Digital Art and Reem Fadda, Associate Curator of Middle Eastern Art, Abu Dhabi Project, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.

The panelists discussed two projects: Liminal Spaces – a unique example of a joint Palestinian-Israeli artistic collaboration involving the Israeli Center for Digital Art – and The Jessy Cohen Project, a community-based initiative in the immigrant neighborhood of Jessy Cohen, Holon. Danon and Fadda examined the connections between these projects as part of the Israeli Center for Digital Art’s sociopolitical curatorial program, and discussed their attempts to respond responsibly and constructively to the campaign for the cultural and academic boycott against Israel.

The event was introduced by Manon Slome, Artis Board Member and Chief Curator of No Longer Empty.
