A Lecture with Curator Yuko Hasegawa at the Tel Aviv Museum

Curator Yuko Hasegawa delivered a lecture entitled Japanese Contemporary Art from the MOT Collection in the context of Pop Art. Curator Nirith Nelson moderated a discussion with Hasegawa following the lecture. The lecture was structured around four main themes: Altering Reality and Perception; The Influence of Pop Art; Technology in Modern Life; and One’s Place in the World.

Hasegawa visited Israel through an Artis Research Trip, supported in part by the Israeli Embassy in Tokyo.
